Controlled F.O.R.C.E. Certified National Instructor Heath Jackson delivered the Level 3 training course "Combative Counter Measures" to local police and correctional officers in McKinney, TX on October 5-9, 2009. The course began with a full review and re-certification in "Level 1: Mechanical Advantage Subject Control" and "Level 2: Survival Force Reactionary Defense." Building on Levels 1 & 2, "Combative Counter Measures" introduced more advanced street survival concepts to prepare the officer to respond to combative situations involving street-wise assailants or professionally trained enemy combatants. Class included officers from throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area, some of whom have had prior training in advanced Controlled F.O.R.C.E. training. One local police officer and long time Controlled F.O.R.C.E. Certified Departmental Instructor, Ana Navarro, assisted Instructor Jackson in the delivery of the training. "Combative Counter Measures" consists of Advanced M.A.C.H. 6-10, Hand Fighting Tactics, Ground Fighting Tactics, Defense Against Multiple Attackers, and Combined Scenario-Based Survival Training Drills. |
